International Coalition for Responsible Tourism was established in 2007 and now includes professional tourism experts with the aim to inform, educate, persuade, denounce and mobilize key players in the tourism (professionals, governments, national and international NGOs) interest in the concept of Responsible Tourism.
Each year, on June 2nd, CITR organizes the World Day for Responsible Tourism.
This year the 7th meeting has the theme: ISLANDS, LABORATORIES OF SUSTAINABLE TOURISM?
